PRODUCT CARE & GUIDELINES
- Do not wash your vehicle for a minimum of 24 hours. During the 24 hours period immediately after installation it is necessary to let the film adhere and begin the curing process. Cleaning the vehicle during this time is the number one cause for adhesive failure. A minimum of 72 hours is recommended.
- Do not power-spray your vehicle for 72 hours.
- Do not use high pressure washing nozzles within 36 inches of edges.
- Complete dry-out time, including trapped moisture, water bubbles and cloudy-look take as long as 30 to 60 days after installation to dissipate.
- Do not use anything abrasive when cleaning the film. Lint-free microfiber or soft terry cloths are fine but do not use any type of scouring pad.
- Do not wipe or scrub the film in direct sunlight or when the film is hot.
- Do not use abrasive cleaners on the film.
- Do not use dyed or coloured car waxes on the film.
- Do not use solvent based digreasers.
- Remove any wax build-up along the film edges with a lint-free cloth.
- Remember, the film needs time to dry and adhere to the paint therefore it may have some slight distortion and cloudiness which will eventually disappear once the film has completely cured.
